Last Saturday was "Halloween Hoopla" Claire went with her cousins, Nana, and mom (dad was already there working). She was a Bears Cheerleader, and Mia was the little mermaid. It was a lot of fun. She was a little under weather, but they enjoyed the halloween games, arts and crafts, cotton candy, and seeing all the dressed up kids. No one went into the Haunted house (too scary)... All the pictures from Halloween Hoopla are on the albums website (link on left).

Max had a school carnival on Thursday and he was a Ninja, more specifically "Naruto." We also had a YMCA party on Friday evening, a kid from school party and soccer game on Saturday, and our annual Dallas Symphony "Spooktacular" that gives an opportunity for Max and Mommy to dress up. Last year we got 3rd place as the cop and robber team. This year we got first place in our age category (well Max's age category) kids 6-10 years old. I was a witch walking my pet tarantula Max!

We've had this family blog for almost 2 years now... and we are wondering who in the family has seen it? We want everyone who takes a look at the Weber Family blog to Post us a message on this link (comment above this note) and let us know if you've been on the site, and what you think! We started it as an easy way to pass long pictures of our new daughter, along with news. We have take over 3,000 pictures of her since she was born... isn't digital photography great?

Now we want to use the blog as a way for everyone to keep in touch through pictures and words... Aunt Gina, Aunt Leslie & Uncle Jaime send us pictures on a regular basis... we want to hear and see pictures from everyone else on both sides of the family... Anything new that you want others to see, or read about, we will be very happy to post...

We also have a new email address, it's weberfamilynews@gmail.com We would love to hear how everyone is doing and any news you may want us to pass along for the whole family to see... Love, the Weber Family!

p.s. you can still get a hold of us through Jacob's Email at work!

Aunt Gina and Max went to the Texas State Fair. They had lots of fun. Max met the Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders! They also saw Billy Ray Cyrrus (Hanna Montana's dad) in concert. Max's first concert ever! And, of course we where greeted by Big Tex!! Aunt Gina Also sent us pictures of the other stuff.. but for some reason we thought we would just run this one of Max and his two new girlfriends.

On Saturday, last week, We met Rick, Laura and the girls for a day at the Farm in Malta and dinner in Dekalb. The farm had a great kids play area with slides, games, a corn pit (yes, a real corn pit)... an apple train, and lots of stuff to do... Although it was a bit on the cold side, all the running around got you warm... We took lots of great pictures (that you can see on the album blog link). At the farm we bought some apples and apple donuts to take home.

After the farm we had dinner in DeKalb... it was NIU homecoming and the town was really crowded... we beat the football game crowd to pizza villa and had some good pizza and some villa nuggest! If you don't know what villa nuggets (or beer nuggets) are, you did not got to school at NIU! Like all our cousins and family we don't see everyone enough. It was nice to see them and spend a short day together.... We are looking forward to doing it again sooner this time. Love, the Weber Family!

"A day at the Farm"

October 8, 2007

This past weekend We went Halloween shopping.... and Sunday we went with Nanna, Pappa, Uncle Dan, Mia, and Eva to the Dairy Farm in Mchenry for a day of fun... It was really, really, really humid and warm... the food was great, Everyone had fun... and we brought home some really great farm-grown vegetables (that made a great cool salad that night at home)... As usual, She loves her cousin Mia... and has a huge smile every time she gets to spend time with her... It was also really nice to see little Eva... she's beautiful. Next week we are traveling to DeKalb to meet up with Aunt Laura & Uncle Rick and the girls... They live in Rock Island, and we don't get t0 see them as much as we would like... so we are looking forward to meeting them "half-way" for a day at the Apple Orchard! -Love, the Weber Family....
