MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND, 2007

Memorial Day Weekend...

We had a long, but fun weekend, filled with lots of activity. On Friday, Claire and Michelle came by the pool to watch the big COHO Swim Club Conference League Championships. It was very loud, very hot, very crowded and Claire lasted about an hour and a half.

Saturday Morning Mom, Dad, and Claire went to a nice family breakfast together to to the Whistle Stop. Afterwards we traveled south to Aunt Terra's and Uncle Scotts for a great day of food and socializing. Uncle Scott really knows how to grill chicken... Yum

On Sunday we got to sleep in a little bit (after the long day Saturday). And in the afternoon went to Nanan and Papa's house. There we met uncle Dan, Aunt Tracie, Mia, and Ava... More great grilled food (shishkabob... I don't know how to spell it)... And for uncle Dan's B-day, Cheescake). Claire had so much fun playing with her older cousin Mia... and she loves her Nanna, who just spoils her. It was a great memorial day weekend... Later that night Claire learned to brush her teeth all by herself...

This Week Aunt Gina and Max are coming to town... and traveling to the museums. This upcoming Sunday is the headstone dedication for Bobe Alice... and it will be a day of thinking about her and spending time with family (We think about her every day.. and know that she is always with us) -Love, the Weber's

Happy Birthday to uncle Dan, Proud new dad of baby Ava... and Mia, who is almost 3!

We thought we should start using the family blog for more than just pictures... We hope to keep everyone in touch with what the family is up to...

It seems like it was just a few weeks ago that Claire was born... She is now 14 months old... and she has two new little cousins... AVA and ETHAN! She is now walking (running)... and a great little personality has come out! She loves her Lorie Berkner Band Video, Loves to look at books, chase Cujo and Sophie (the cats)... does not like to be kept waiting in the morning when she wakes up... She's our Joy and our little angel. She loves to visit Nanna Cacioppo... and to this day we are very, very happy that Bobe Weber got to see her when she was born.

She took us around the Kohl Children's Museum for a couple of hours... she loved to explore and press all the buttons, pull all the levers, splash in the water, and run around the green grass outside... She visited Seide Weber last week... and she loves seeing him. We really look forward to her visits with him.. and we are trying to make it more often.

In other family news: We got to see some great pictures of Max in his first ever little league baseball game... He is very athletic and very, very smart... He is taking after his mom (aunt Gina) as very smart, and very social.

Uncle Jaime is about done with the Police academy... he will join Uncle Ruben (now a detective) as a member of the Chicago Police Department. When Ruben became a detective, he was allowed to pass along his badge number to uncle Jaime. Uncle Jamie and Aunt Leslie had their second boy earlier this year... Ethan joined his big brother Connor in the family...

On the "other" side of the family: Uncle Dan, Aunt Traci and Mia brought home little sister AVA a couple of weeks ago... she is a great little sleeper.. and her big sister Mia really loves her!
Claire spends a lot of time at Nanna's and Pappas house (since mom and dad work a lot of weekends) She loves spending time there... and runs around the kitchen island over and over...

Kohls Childrens Museum Outdoors & Indoors

Lots of fun and lots of running around chasing her for mommy and daddy... She got to explore with water, books, music, toys, and lots of open spaces!

We went to visit new Baby Ava and her whole family... Everyone is doing great.... ...big sister Mia, mom and dad, the cats,and of course Golllie are all very happy and tired. We can't wait to drop off all three girls at Nanas' house one night soon so she can babysit all three girls at the same time! :0)

On May 15, 2007 was an historic date as Max played his

first baseball game! He's Team is the Stars! He caught 2 balls and made

a run! The only picture I have were you can see his actual face while batting,

I ruined it by taking the picture with the fence covering his face!!! What a
bummer! I will try again next game on Saturday! -Gina
