Earlier this week Claire visited the pool and had a great time in the Spraygrounds... She loved running through the warm-water that came out of the ground... even when she got cold she did not want to leave...
Today was the 4th of July, 2007...
Although mom had to work on the fourth, we had a very nice evening... Everyone met at Uncle Dan's and Aunt Traci's house.. we all went to the Fireworks in Lake Zurich... we had great seats, RIGHT UNDER THE WHOLE THING!!! It was a bit loud for Claire, but she managed to fall asleep while being held by Nanna, and then Momma!
Cousin Eva also slept through most of it... while Mia enjoyed all the fireworks... We had chicken, home made salad by Nanna... and lots of great company... Pappa brought his cooler and it was filled with food and pop/ water for everyone...
Before the fireworks (while it was still light out)... there was a great band playing (I think they where called the "Retro-Rockets"). Claire, Mia, Mom, and Nanna danced around and had a great time... Claire went from blanket to blanket.. stopped in front of people sitting on them and danced for them... then she would move on to another blanket and do the same... If we knew she was gonna put on a show, we would have brought one of those donation buckets and made some cash!!! Hope everyone enjoyed the 4th of July... Happy Birthday Uncle Jaime...
Now we get ready for the great Summer Classic Swim Meet to benefit JDRF... it's going to be a long weekend, but lots of fun and a great cause!~Love, The Weber Family
